About Me

My name is Casey Kruger, and I’m a graphic designer based out of Sioux City, IA. With a marketing-first approach, I see my role as a bridge between strategy and aesthetics, treating each piece as both a visual project and a communication tool. Some projects call for clear, message-forward design, while others invite more experimental, aesthetic exploration. Across branding, editorial work, digital graphics, and print media, I always keep a strong sense of color, typography, and design at the center of my work.

Because of my background in marketing, I’m always thinking about audience, context, and clarity. I enjoy being versatile, shifting between styles and solutions depending on what best serves the message and client. Switching between visual styles and client demands is what allows me to grow as a designer and expand my horizons. My commitment to continuous learning ensures that my work remains fresh and adaptive.

A lot of my inspiration comes from pop culture, which acts as a visual library that I pull from when I design. I’m especially interested in how themes, personality, and stories are told through visual identities. Transforming large ideas into concrete logos, photography, or other materials is often extremely difficult. I learn best by absorbing material and adding to my visual toolbox. Using this, I aim to create work that is authentic, creative, and resonates with many types of audiences.
